BOM/KIT Manager

General information for the business: We sell a variety of engineering, wifi, soldering and cases & enclosure products. Kind of development: New program from scratch Description of requirements/functionality: The application should be Windows compatible, allow for wireless handheld barcode scanners and support QR Codes. It should be a Windows Form Application. The Database is a MS SQL Sage 300 ERP 2014 The main form should display two textboxes and a Data Grid. Textbox1: The first textbox is for the BOM/KIT QR Code string. This will query the DB and pull back the associated Sub-Parts relating to that BOM/KIT as well as populate the Data Grid with the following information; DataGrid Columns; • BOM Number • Part Number • Qty to Scan • Override There should also be an override button option that will enable the user to mark the row needed as complete, this is in case a QR Code label is missing from a product. When the 'Qty To Scan' reaches 0 the row should be marked as Green. Textbox2: The second textbox will allow the user to scan each sub-part's QR code label and this will then mark the relating row, displayed in the Data Grid, as Green once the required QTY value has reached 0. If the user scans a products QR code that is not part of the BOM/KIT then an error message should display to inform them.
