Looking for Store designer

This Store Design position contributes to Client success by supporting the regional store design process to create outstanding store designs that uphold the Client Customer Experience. The process is inclusive of all phases of design from schematic through construction documents and administration while honoring budget, schedule and operational requirements.Typical Day in the Role * They will be involved with the whole lifespan of a project * Store dev manager outlines project, then the CW will assist with putting together parts of the store structure, then interior, then the designer would take the lead with the AOR consultants to start the construction documents before moving to construction team * 20% correspondence, with constructions, operations and vendors (cross functional) * Shop drawing & submittal reviews * AOR coordination * Participate in daily cross function processes (Construction / Store Dev / Operations) * Primarily production (sketch up model and package development) * Revit & SketchUp production * InDesign package production Candidate RequirementsNICE TO HAVE * Photoshop * Retail and hospitality * Preferred architecture degree * This is seated in a design focused studio so experience with studio work would be great * No real disqualifiers (as longas they have strong AOR ) MUST HAVE * AutoCAD * Ability to balance design, with operational needs and budget objectives resulting in exceptional store environments * Ability to execute multiple designs under tight deadlines * Ability to communicate design with hand sketches/drawings * Skilled in the visual, written and verbal communication of design issues * Ability to translate stated design principles / objectives into unique and varied store locations * Knowledge of architectural details and specifications for construction document production * Able to work independently * Organizational skills; attention to detail * Ability to multi-task * Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills PERFORMANCE * Multiple standing meetings, but most of the feedback is in real time * The team encourages peer mentorship Top 3 must-have hard skills * Sketch Up * Revit * InDesign
