Anyone who makes their own handmade goods can join MicroMkt and create a MktStall (shop front). This MktStall allows them to list products and sell them to consumers, the entire process and transaction take place on the MicroMkt platform. The current stage in our strategy is focussed on finding potential sellers of handmade goods and inviting them to join the MicroMkt platform. We will provide you with a detailed workflow once the work is agreed. You will require a phone or tablet with the Instagram app. Approach: You will identify customers by searching relevant hashtags (to be provided) on Instagram. You will then send them a direct message on Instagram telling them about MicroMkt (text provided), ensuring we always make reference to one of their products/posts (not the most recent one) for example ‘we absolutely love your fathers day card range’ to show this is a personalised approach and not spam.
