Development Editor Wanted for 5,000 word crime short stories. Regular monthly work

Kind of writing: Fiction Num. of words: 5000 Topic: Crime, Mystery, Injustice Tone: Other Extra notes: I'm hoping to find a highly experienced and talented Development / re-write editor who has worked on crime stories over the past few years. You may also be an author yourself? I’m currently writing a monthly series of short stories. Each will be around 5,000 words and crime related. Each one will be fairly ‘clean’ with little in the way of gore or explicit sex. Some will have an element of social injustice within the theme. Therefore I need a highly experienced development / re-write editor who can take my drafts and sections of the plot and re-write them in a more descriptive manner, so the end result is an enjoyable read. I would require you to complete one story per month on average. I have already written the first three stories so there is regular work already in the can. What you will receive is something in the order of a second draft. I want someone who is dedicated to helping me make each story a real page turner. To help improve the plot and make sure it flows and makes sense. To show me where I have gone wrong and guide me to greatness! To help give my readers a truly compelling read. I'm after someone who is clear, concise and precise in their communications. Who is reliable and has the time and won't disappear at some point before the project is completed and can deliver within the time scale we both agree on. I want you to help me determine the best order for the chapters, highlight places where the text may have digressed too far, and point out areas where more explanation is needed or where it starts to send you to sleep rather than get you to turn the page. I understand the value a good editor can bring to the table and I will gladly listen to your comments and suggestions and will act upon them. You will NOT be required to proof read as this will be carried out by a dedicated proof reader. I'm happy to pay you what you are worth and be someone you enjoy working with.
