Virtual Social Media & Digital Marketing Assistant Would you like the opportunity to learn some cutting edge marketing approaches whilst working with a multi-millionaire business angel and entrepreneur, global speaker and coach? An ambitious but flexible remote social media and digital marketing assistant is required to work for a UK-based entrepreneur. Gender, age and location are not important, but attitude, entrepreneurial spirit, and a strong desire to learn will be critical for the successful candidate. The successful candidate will be asked to work on some discrete projects to start with, after which feedback will be provided. After a satisfactory probationary period, a longer contract will be offered. The scope of this role is very wide and offers an amazing opportunity for the right candidate. You will be encouraged to show initiative and contribute your own ideas, and eventually you will be asked to generate your own copy from scratch. You will have the option to further outsource items that you continue to take responsibility for, but are confident of managing remotely, as you grow in confidence and take on more complex and involved work. This opportunity offers you the chance to be in on the ground floor of a fast-developing digital marketing consultancy. You will be trained and coached as you work and you will learn some amazing new skills and techniques which could open future doors for you in affiliate marketing, the option to start your own business, or enter into partnership or JVs. Duties Take skeleton briefs and turn into full length articles, or turn longer form articles into series of short blog posts, tweets or FB posts Source non copyrighted / free content materials and create draft content Research product areas or content, assess content options, generate finished copy of high standard, post to multiple platforms and monitor the results Convert content into different forms e.g. MP4 notes, videos or recordings into transcripts, break into shorter form media and so on Organise webinars, post agreed content, manage social media sites Maintain and build regular social media content calendar, using Hootsuite, Dlvr.it or similar. Essential You must be prepared to sign an NDA as you will have access to confidential materials You must have familiarity with at least some of following - Facebook accounts/pages, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, LinkedIn You must have excellent command of spoken and written English, be able to quickly interpret and follow briefings whether high level/conceptual or with some technical detail You must be able to take skeleton briefs and fill them out into long form content Your current skill set is less important than your attitude, willingness to work hard, ability to take initiative and desire to learn Desirable Google SEO Apps experience Ability to support online podcasts or edit HD video Next steps If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact Lisa Zevi with information detailing why you believe that you are the ideal candidate for this opportunity.
