Femini Magazine is an independent magazine that is stocked at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, as well as other stores across the UK. We are a team of two young and friendly women who run the magazine independently, with the aim of drawing attention to cultural struggles and to showcase the inspirational talent of defiant women across the world. We have attracted many creatives with high social media followings such as Audrey Kitching and Molly Soda and can be found on Instagram at @feminimagazine. We are looking for a graphic designer (no set amount of experience required, but you must be good with photoshop and provide examples of some previous work that are fresh, professional and clean in design) who will be required to do the following: - Receive an outline of what each page should look like, as well as receiving mood board from Pinterest etc. which can be worked with - Create an A5 magazine (around 50 pages, with many of these simply being full-page images) that is eye-catching and of a high quality - Make sure that the magazine can be supplied in a PDF format - Work well with short deadlines and time frames, as our next issue should be fully designed by 23rd of June - Have a genuine interest in culture/zines We are working on a very small budget as this is very much a passion project which takes a lot of money to invest into glossy magazine production. Despite this, we will be happy to pay a designer £70 for their work, as well as crediting them on the printed copies themselves, with the chance to have their website or blog handles included for promotion. We believe that this would be a great opportunity for another fellow student to put onto their CV. In addition, if we worked well together, we would be happy to work again with the designer chosen, possibly at a higher pay rate. If you are interested, please send to us an email with a few examples of your work, a short bio and why we should take you on! Best wishes
