Information for the business: Business to Business Industry: Business Design details: Keencut is a manufacturer of high precision cutting machines for the framing and visual communications market. It is a worldwide supplier selling through distributors. See www.keencut.co.uk Keencut has produced a number of product guides, many of which have not been updated for a number of years. In a few months’ time Keencut will undertake a complete review of its literature and promotional material, both printed and electronic. In the meantime the company wishes to take a number of its current product guides and to rebrand these and modernize them. These will primarily be made available to Keencut’ s distributor customers. The first guide to be modernized is Keencut’s world leading Steeltrak product. The task here is to re-brand the leaflet supplied into a format that is in line with the corporate look and feel, giving it a more professional and modern look. The information contained in the leaflet can be moved and reformatted but as we have translations of the material in multiple languages we are reluctant to change the actual words at this stage. The style and structure of this leaflet will be used across future materials and therefore this should be considered as part of the design. The brief is to provide two potential ways forward by initially supplying visuals and layout and then, on approval of a design to provide a complete layout of visuals and text in a form that can be printed by Keencut, used as pdfs etc. Microsoft Publisher is required for the final version.
