Website customisation (theme downloaded and part-populated already)

General information for the website: We're a non-profit Kind of development: Customization of existing website Description of requirements/features: We're a non-profit that works with kids/young people to help them fulfill their potential so have limited funds but really need this done well and on time. We will be planning to award the job asap so that you can start work. We have a new Wordpress website that we need to be edited. We are using the BuddyBoss LearnDash theme. We need the wordpress site to be functional (not all of the pages, just 6 key pages, that include basic pages like contact us that just needs to have some colour on it and perhaps put into a better layout for users) and ready for a presentation on Friday. Much of the content is already on the website, but we need it tweaking. It just doesn’t look modern, cohesive, professional or user friendly. At the moment it looks dated and we haven’t even launched it yet! So someone with a good eye for details and marketing experience would be welcome! Who we’re looking for someone: - with an attention to detail and high level of written English - ideally familiar with this theme (LearnDash theme) or with a good working knowledge of wordpress - good understanding of optimising user experience - willing to share dimensions needed for banners so that we can work on getting our old banners updated and then send them across as soon as they’re ready - with an eye for design, who likes jobs completed well and on time - willing to work fairly independently but within the brief of producing a functioning professional but friendly site with good user experience and then edit things after we have seen your updates We need the site to be: - SEO optimised as much as possible - Fast to load - Professional and friendly to look at (whilst sticking within brand colours) **We need someone who understands e-marketing/website design to help us complete this project asap**
