E-learning course development

General information for the website: As part of the Equal Rights Trust's work advancing equality, specifically our supporting equality movements programme, the Trust is to create an online training platform to build the capacity of human rights defenders to combat discrimination. Description of requirements/features: Please kindly see the full brief attached for all the full details required. Extra services needed: Hosting Extra notes: About the Equal Rights Trust The Equal Rights Trust is a non-profit organisation. Since its creation in 2007, the Trust has taken a lead on addressing inequality and discrimination worldwide in areas including, litigation, advocacy and supporting equality movements. Further information on the Trust is available at: www.equalrightstrust.org. About the Training Platform The training platform is part of a Trust project which began in early 2017 and which calls for greater protection of human and labour rights in the GSP+ countries: Armenia, Bolivia, Cape Verde, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Paraguay, Pakistan and the Philippines. More specifically, the project supports civil society and trade unions to monitor the implementation of UN human rights and International Labour Organization labour rights conventions, and to promote reforms to laws, policies and practices necessary to implement these conventions. For further information, please download our project flyer. The Importance of the Platform The platform presents an exciting opportunity for the Trust. It will be the first time it has carried out online training, allowing it to target a range of participants based in different contexts and geographies and to expand its reach at a relatively low cost. It will also allow the Trust to position itself as taking a lead in digital innovations and it is likely that it will be used as a model for future projects. The online training will follow the same format as in-person training workshops delivered as part of the project. To ensure the depth of the online training equates to the detail and support provided through the workshops, the online training will include a number of features and will be accessible to participants for a set period of time. For further information please read through the brief attached and do get in touch if you have any questions. We will be accepting proposals up until Thursday 6 July 2017.
