We are looking for a ‘brand hierarchy’ specialist to take on a piece of work with one of our clients. To really pull apart their existing structure and rebuild in terms of brands, sub brands and key messaging. Everything has become disparate over time and they want us to really draw a line and then refresh. It’s not about design etc, but more about where products, services and solutions sit, how we can bring a number of offerings together and then wrap them under a corporate umbrella. It’s akin to how Apple brought hardware and software/solutions together in the client’s words. Simplifying their offering, though making it bite size chunk understandable and relate-able to the others. We will lead on this, but need this independent person to really map out following stakeholder interviews etc. We are too close to this and having someone out of the space will bring a fresh perspective. The client is in the M2M/IoT space so an understanding of the sector would be helpful. The organisation is based in the Thames Valley, so essential that the appointed consultant is South UK based with easy access to Berks/Bucks. At this stage, we want to hear from senior level candidates that can demonstrate clarity of thinking and strategic prowess. The client contacts are heavy-weight IT entrepreneurs who must have compelling cases to change their approach. Consequently the consultant for this project must come with impeccable credentials and evidence of achievements.
