Hi Tim, great to be in touch. I work advising a bank in Latin America, and we're executing a project about their apps. Our firm executes projects in consumer banking, mostly in Latin America We've seen some very interesting apps in banking in the UK (Mostly Monzo and Atom) and would love to learn more about how they onboard users, and how the UI works at the onboarding stage. In banking, the onboarding workflow is cornerstone: You have to balance pretty long forms while still offering a pleasant signup experience. Balancing both is key. As the UK has some of this leading cases in app-based banking, we're looking to UK based designers to work with us. What we have as an initial engagement is pretty simple: Do a benchmark of Monzo, Atom, and other online banks, as a new user, capture the screens from download to complete user onboarding, and give a very brief opinion on what you liked or not. Since this part doesn't involve moving pixels, but rather using apps as regular users, we budgeted 2 hours for this quick research. In the near future, as a second engagement, based on this study, we'll work together in developing a good onboarding together, for this we budgeted more hours as it involves more design.
