Num. of articles: 1 Words per article: 800 Information for the blog/website: We publish a magazine aimed at disabled people Industry: Publishing/Journalism Topic: Career in Sports Tone: Informal/Casual Outline & Structure: We publish a magazine aimed at disabled people. Our next issue is our Sports themed issue. Sports Science Careers We believe that there is no reason why a disabled person shouldn't become a football coach, gym instructor or physio etc. Many of the people involved in the practical side of sports will have studied sports science at university which gives them an overview of sports physiology and the like. We have already covered the sports science course at the University of Worcester in some depth, so what we'd really like to explore is what a disabled person might go on to do with a similar qualification - and whether any social barriers exist (and their solutions). My guess is that possible careers might include: coaching, teaching, medical - physio or sports therapist, personal trainer and gym instructor. We'd like you to discuss the entry requirements and where a career could progress to. Extra notes:
